As i said totally it will cost around 2.5k + 500to800 for the proper monitor = 3k+ for not even a single serious title so far.
As for the play station 4 the graphics will be that bad that i almost pity those who want to try it.

Edit:And no people. a single 970 is only VR ready in theory it cant even handle 4k in medium setings in most games
Atm you need two 980 in sli over clocked to death to begin play some games.
The ideal is 2 way 980ti OC'ed to death.
Or Fury x Crossfire.

Now that we waited a few months, this makes it a bit clear.

I am glad I did not went with the hype, when I saw the huge price and late delivery dates.


HTC VIVE looking good, but I might wait for a 2nd generation or a price drop of the first generation.

Nothing new there...

Even after the second gen of the vive is out, i wouldn't buy it. There is just not enough content for me. Its something that i will consider in about 2 years or so, if it is still a thing.
