Unfortunately i've seen this many times...
That publishers are really pushing the boundaries of their customers.
Street Fighter vs Tekken was the same.
I bought 2 copies on release, one for me and one for another person to play with me.
End result, wasted money. The tag team online that they made so much publicity of and main selling point on their trailers, was totally unplayable, it would even make the game loose the sounds.

EA screwed around also with their games, and it shows by being considered the worst american company to work in. 2 years in a row.
Also the developers and publishers know that the game is not ready, and on purpose create a embargo on reviews and provide no copies for review, until after release of the game. So that they still get the hyped fools money by avoiding the early bad publicity. This is common practice from game developers/publishers, for several years already. And they also should go on court for false advertising, and for creating fake accounts to try and manipulate information / scores of the game. That is so so so so so low level i can not even begin to describe how disgusted i get from it. I 100% loose respect for such companies.

So keep in mind these 2 for future reference:
Developer: Digital Extremes
Publisher: Namco Bandai

no wonder many people prefer to get a pirated copy of a game to check it out and only end up to buy it if they really enjoy a game and if its polished enough.
and yeah, EA is being worse than ever, that simcity launch was the biggest fail on the recent times of released games (all games, EA or not).
the news got me a bit scared for a moment, reading star trek i thought it was some new gameplay on STO lol. glad it isnt.
and btw, game (sto) is set to get the 1st expansion at 22 may, lots of new stuff romulan related, including playable race, ships and new story, plus all races unlocked at lvl 1 among other features.
i know, last line was a bit off topic, but well, still is star trek related hehe :P
