One thing i am trying to wrap my head around... How come the price of the "download version" is the same as the one that has a DVD a box and a paper manual. Should it not be cheaper? :\
Apart from that, if you are going to be playing it online on a regular basis. Maybe a RS division? After you confirm that you are not annoyed with the gameplay of the game or that the pleasure does not wear off fast. :)

I have been reading extensively about it: Battlefield 3 Forums, Youtube Reviews etc. etc. Well...like always i saw both extremes in terms of opinions. For some it's perfect while the rest has all kinds of different issues.
Saw a lot of videos from beta and i have been keeping an eye for new videos daily trying to figure it out how is the game behaving. I try watch good reviews from people that know what they are talking about. Mostly what i care above all is how is the hit registration/hit-box issue? Once again, some people said it's great, awesome, perfect, while some others heavily complain that it is just as bad as it was on the previous games. Shooting people in the head several times without them dying, etc.
So yea any feedback about it would be appreciated, because i do enjoy the game but was very disappointed with Bad Company 2 to a point i gave up because it was completely stressing me out. I'm not a bad FPS player, i usually do quite good, but i can't stand shooting at people and watching them twitch just for them to turn around and one shot me, leaving harmless with 100% Health...

Since there is no demo so we can try it out and with the amount of complaints i see i'm certainly not gonna buy it and regreat...

Not seen any problems with registration/hit-box issues,unlike in MoH 2010 (which ive played from launch) where you'd take some hits,dive behind cover and still take hits and die as a result.Snipers will always be a problem,but aint they always :P ,but with plenty of under-growth/rubble/vehicles + prone/crouch i find it alot easier to make advances without being detected.Only a few downsides i dont like is trying to group up (groups of 4) with buddies & attempting to join a server which shows open slots only to be informed that you cant join as server is changing map or server is full/reserved slots,nothing worse that hitting join on a server showing 4x/64,then within the space of a second or 2 its 64/64,but these are only minor annoyances.
Co-op mode is fun,2 maps at start,with another 4 to unlock as you progress.Also the point system in this also unlocks weapons to be used in the mp.
The single player campaign i've found fun,great story,good action & plenty of game time unlike MoH2010 which i found extremely short and didnt justify its release price.
All being said,BF3 is well worth the pick-up if you enjoy fps's,just a shame there's no demo to get a taste before commiting to a purchase.

Maybe watching some multiplayer, pc gameplay, videos on youtube. And pay attention how easy or hard people die based on how the player shot them.
Found a pretty decent vid for ya Wiz,1 of the largest maps showing plenty of the surroundings/vehicle use,but then again,you've prolly looked at many bf3 vids to get input too :D
