I see. We're not able to preview Wings as we can with Armor or Weapons, so you'll have to buy it first to see it. We can check how each Wing looks like at Aiondatabase, but I can't find the Wings that we're talking about now

I guess they must be 3.0 wings then... After all, that's what this topic was about ;)

Looked up all Wings available in game now and indeed they weren't with them.
Here's a couple that are in the game, but we don't see much yet, if at all...

Haroshunerk's Noble Wing Feather (the gold lvl 50 one at Sanctum shop for 98 mill)
[item=small]187000010[/item]

Noble Chief Operative's Wings (lvl 50 wings from Radiant Ops tokens)
[item=small]187000024[/item]

Storm Wings (lvl 55 drop from StormWing in Beshmundir Temple - Hard Mode)
[item=small]187000018[/item]

what??????? I was trying to get those wings with my daily quest.... you saying i lost them on freebie? :\ And worst even, they are now common?  :-X

Operative Wings have not really become freebies, but since they require 28 radiant tokens and that we received 30 radiant tokens that day as a Solorius gift, a lot more people may go for them.

However, given the 30 tokens from Solorius it may be much more interesting to save up for the Noble Operative Wings which require 50 radiant tokens.

This link shows the stats of both, they have the same look and same level 40 requirement.

Operative (28 radiant tokens):
40 secs flight time
+12 strike resist

Noble Operative (50 radiant tokens):
60 seconds flight time
+172 hp
+15 strike resist

I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

If you got the 6 months veteran reward Black Cloud Wing Feather (lv 40) they're not worth getting for the stats.

Thanks for sharing Ashelia! How useful is that + strike resistance? It was the first time I came across it. Pretty sure though that it will not be worth 50 radiant tokens :)

Arieluma,

Ashelia

I have no clue about the Strike Resistance, never saw it before 2.0 either.
Even if it's useful, don't waste your tokens if you can get something better for them later. You wanna go for lvl 50 wings sooner or later anyway.

Ashelia,

I totally agree, but am still wondering where this new "strike restistence" is coming from and why we never heard zilch about it. Which begs the question what else is there that we do not know about :)

Look in your stats screen, upper part...
Knowledge? Will?
They copied so many stats from other games without doing anything with it... They're just there but nothing that we do have even affects them. I'd say do it right, or leave it.

imo strike resistance might be the stuns/knockouts resistance.

I see it, as a resistance against receiving a critical strike. I can be wrong tough.

Been thinking, and I start to fear a bit that the new weapons (whips, crossbows, etc) might be a mere illusion. The initial Aion trailer showed all our best skills (chains that proc, 4k DP skills). Keeping in mind that we only see 1 skill with any of these new weapons, it might as well be a new 4k(/5k/6k) DP skill that can only rarely be used.

I may sound pessimistic now, but seeing that the coolest things of the initial trailer are still rarely being seen ingame, and the introduction of new weapon types and skills to go with it would be a MAJOR change...

(btw one of those huge creatures crawling from out of the ground at 7:40 was already seen in the initial Aion 1.0 trailer lol)

It is possible to be like you say.

That creature that you see on trailer 1.0 does show up on Aion, I believe when showing a flashback of what happened in the great battle.
